Shane’s place was the perfect weekend retreat for our group of 6. The house was spacious, clean, and cozy. The hot tub and games were an excellent addition to unwind in the evenings after a full summer day of hiking, kayaking, and swimming in the Red River.

So much to say! Big enough for everyone to have their space and yet cozy enough to feel like home. The furniture and layout was really inviting; beds were comfortable. Took full advantage of the coffee bar (thank you!) and the little extras – like towels for the hot tub, extra dog bed and water bowl downstairs – didn’t go unnoticed.

Such a beautiful and spacious place! Between the big deck, huge TVs everywhere, games and pool table, awesome hot tub and crazy well-equipped kitchen, the couches and beds are so comfortable. 10/10 recommend.

This is a great place up on the side of one of the mountains? hills? It was close enough to all the hiking and climbing we wanted to do. The place was clean and the kids loved the loft area and game room. The week we visited was right after major thunderstorms and flooding was ongoing, the owner was quick to respond when I was asking about accessibility and other questions.
